Hybrid Position: 3 days in person & 2 days telehealth a week
Summary
The Director of Group Family Training is responsible for developing, implementing, and scaling Triangle ABA’s Group Family Training Program to ensure families receive structured, high-quality ABA-based training while awaiting direct BCBA services. This role will establish company-wide training standards, oversee parent training pods, and implement clear supervision procedures to maintain clinical integrity and program sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Implementation:
- Design and implement a structured, scalable Group Family Training Program across multiple locations.
- Develop and standardize procedures and best practices for implementation of parent training to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Create curricula, resources, and materials to support evidence-based training for parents and caregivers.
- Monitor and adjust training models based on data-driven outcomes and feedback from families and clinicians.
Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance:
- Oversee a caseload of 180 to 200 client hours weekly, ensuring families receive quality ABA-based training.
- Provide 24 hours per week of billable services, including direct training and supervision.
- Develop supervision protocols to ensure clinical integrity and compliance with BACB guidelines.
- Implement quality assurance measures to track progress, retention, and family engagement.
- Oversee a Pod of BTs, RBTs and SBAs conducting scorecards quarterly
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and support a team of BCBAs, RBTs, pod team to execute training programs effectively.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices for parent training, ensuring adherence to Triangle ABA’s core values and methodologies.
- Create in house CEUS for our BCBA staff and conduct them quarterly
- Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Regional Directors, and other leadership team members to align parent training initiatives with overall clinical goals.
Scaling & Sustainability:
- Establish a growth plan for expanding Group Family Training to new locations while maintaining high standards.
- Identify efficiency improvements in delivery models to enhance program accessibility and reach more families.
- Create measurable KPIs to assess training effectiveness, parent engagement, and program impact.
- Ensure financial and operational sustainability by optimizing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
- BCBA certification required; at least 5 years of experience in ABA parent training and clinical program development.
- Experience in scaling ABA services, implementing structured parent training programs, and managing multi-site training initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills with the ability to influence and develop high-performing teams.
- Data-driven decision-making skills with expertise in tracking clinical outcomes and program impact.
- Passion for helping families access ABA support and improving service delivery models.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Program Implementation & Expansion:
- Launch Group Family Training Program in 100% of Triangle ABA locations within 12 months.
- Increase family participation rates by 30% within the first year. All families have been put into pods and trained on at least two modules within the first year
- Standardized Training Procedures:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training manuals or and resources within six months.
- Ensure 100% compliance with training protocols across all locations.
- Clinical Integrity & Best Practices:
- Maintain an average 90%+ parent satisfaction score in post-training surveys.
- Achieve 95% compliance with BACB standards for clinical training and supervision.
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Train and mentor 100% of BCBAs and RBTs involved in parent training within the first year.
- Conduct quarterly performance evaluations with a 90%+ staff competency rating.
- Parent Engagement & Outcomes:
- Increase parent retention in training programs by 25% within the first year.
- Ensure 80%+ of families report improved confidence in implementing ABA techniques at home.
Reporting & Accountability:
- Reports to the Regional Director and Clinical Director.
- Works collaboratively with BCBAs, RBTs, and the Operations Team to ensure smooth execution.
- Responsible for quarterly performance reviews and continuous program improvement initiatives.
