The BCBA Consultant & Coach at Triangle ABA is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing a caseload of clients, managing a pod of staff (student behavior analysts, Lead RBTs, RBT 2s, RBT 1s, and BTs), and fostering their professional and clinical development. This role combines strategic case management, staff mentorship, and a commitment to client success. By leading with innovation and accountability, the BCBA Consultant & Coach directly supports Triangle ABA’s mission to deliver exceptional ABA services while driving organizational growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Billable Hours: Ensure 80% or higher of client scheduled hours per week are met and maintain 27 billable hours of week personally
- Plans of Care (POC): Submit 100% of POCs at least 45 days prior to their due date.
- Supervision Compliance: Achieve a 10% supervision rate for all clients monthly.
- Development of Others: Demonstrate measurable improvements in the clinical and leadership skills of assigned pod members, as evidenced by performance reviews and team outcomes.
Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight and Caseload Management
- Oversee a weekly caseload of up to 250 hours, ensuring all clients receive effective and ethical treatment.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Maintain all data and program records in Central Reach, ensuring alignment with treatment goals.
- Monitor trends in client data and adjust programs for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Supervision and Team Leadership
- Directly supervise and coach a pod of staff, including student behavior analysts, Lead RBTs, RBT 2s, RBT 1s, and BTs.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance professional and clinical skills, including programming, data analysis, and client interaction strategies.
- Review and provide feedback on monthly supervision documentation and clinical notes.
- Lead bimonthly performance reviews for RBTs and BTs, providing actionable feedback and professional development plans.
- Actively contribute to Triangle ABA’s leadership pipeline by identifying and mentoring high-potential team members.
Parent and Family Collaboration
- Conduct monthly parent training sessions to enhance family engagement and reinforce ABA strategies in the home.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on progress and actionable strategies for generalization of skills.
Educational Qualifications and Certifications
- Required:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current NC licensure (or ability to obtain within the specified timeframe).
- Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience as a BCBA, with demonstrated leadership in clinical settings.
- Proficiency in Central Reach or similar ABA management platforms.
